Growing a Bunch...
...of kids, flowers, food and wool!
(not to mention growing on the inside, too...)
Thank you for your interest in Growing a Bunch Farm! We are a homeschooling family with four children ages 11, 14, 18 and 20. Lisa is a life-long artisan and designer of costumes, jewelry, environments and now yarn. She is a natural dyer and avid knitter and dabbles in weaving and the other fiber arts. We raise chickens and a goose for eggs, sheep for wool, organic vegetables, flowers and dye plants.
Our workshops were born of a desire to pass along skills and knowledge that were once widely possessed but may be in danger of becoming obsolete. In today's busy world, being able to mend, sew, and create clothing or other useful items is a wonderful antidote and alternative to screens and media. We think one of the best aspects of our workshops is the balance between the active, fun and social time and the quiet focus work that occurs when kids are given a beautiful space and quality tools to immerse themselves in great projects.
We look forward to having your child join us for a week of art, crafting, learning, exploration and fun.
